Hey! I’m Charis — Curl Specialist and Founder of The Curl Lounge here in Northern Ireland. If you’ve ever felt frustrated, lost, or overwhelmed by your curly hair, I want you to know… you’re not alone. I’ve been there too!

I grew up with a head full of curls and a wonderful mum who always encouraged me to see their beauty — even when the world didn’t. Over the years, I’ve seen how curly hair is so often misunderstood and mishandled by stylists who don’t know how to work with it. That frustration is exactly what inspired me to train as a certified curl specialist and create The Curl Lounge — a space where curls are celebrated, nurtured, and cared for, never “tamed” or treated as a problem.

Here, I work by using dry-cutting techniques, personalised curl shaping, and tailored product education to suit your unique texture. Whether your hair dances in loose waves or coils tightly, you’ll leave feeling heard, seen, and confident in your natural beauty.
